The Golden Path
The entrance of the Showa Memorial Park is beautifully lined with golden ginkgo trees on both sides of the road. It makes for a spectacular sight in autumn when the leaves change to a golden yellow. However, unless you are the first person to enter the park (opens at 9:30am by the way) or the last to leave, you’re probably going to see more people than leaves here. No, seriously I kid you not.
This shot was taken on my way out as the park was closing. The sun was already setting and I had to bump the ISO way high to avoid any camera shake. I like how the sunset light has given the trees a warmer, more orange-y hue to it. Though the underexposure is annoying me a bit. Not the perfect shot but overall I’m pleased with the result.
